HE'S HERE!!!!!

My newest nephew has made his appearance into this world!!!

Zachary James Pilchard (Zac)
Born April 29th at 7:27 a.m.
Weighing 5 lbs. 12 oz.
18 1/2 inches long

Proud mommy and daddy, Bethany and Jason

Baby Zac was brought to the ICU for some breathing problems, but Daddy said that he is getting better every minute! Thank you, God!

Welcome to earth, baby Zac! We love you already!!!

We pray that God will show Himself to you and that you will believe on Jesus Christ as your Savior and that you will be filled with His Holy Spirit at a young age! This is our prayer for you!

We are praying!

My sister Bethany is scheduled to be induced tonight at 9:00 to give birth to her second son. I am obviously ecstatic to hear the news! Even at 2:30 in the morning!! :) I can't wait to hear the name of my newest nephew. Of course, I'll have to wait a couple weeks to actually see him since they are all the way in Colorado. :( But it will be worth the wait. God's blessings and grace on you and the baby (and Jason and Lij) tonight and tomorrow!

Love you!!!

She's getting there!

Well, Brianna is finally ready to potty train. We really thought it would never happen! She has stayed dry since yesterday at 9:30 (including nighttime!)! She is still a little apprehensive about her big girl panties, but she is doing well!! We are so proud of her. She even wanted (and did) pray last night about going potty and asked God to help her. She is even learning to trust God in this. That excites us the most. Good job, Nan!

"Man Time"

Daddy and Keats had some "man time" together the other day.
This was Keaton's first time playing on Gumby. He wasn't too sure about it...
But he and Dad love being together. It's fun to see them together. And it's just begun! :)

Little Pals

Keaton and Lydia are beginning to be pals! They are starting to play together now instead of just touching each other's head or pulling hair (Keaton-sorry, Lydia!) They do alot of the same things because they are only 1 week apart. It has been so fun to watch them this first year. :)

They have fun standing at the deck door and looking out at the dog. :) Cute!
We love you, Keaton and Lydia!

My blankets

This is mostly for Mom... This is how I'm packaging my baby blankets and pillows now to sell.
I folded up the blanket and put the pillow on top and added a little gift card for the finishing touch. Tied it all up with cute white ribbon. We now have them in a gift store!! How fun!

All the munchkins

Every Friday night now, we switch off with the Schmidtys (and sometimes the Fritz's) for date night/babysitting. Last Friday was our turn to watch the kiddos.

They had so much fun running around and dancing to their Awesome God CD.
Got them all pooped out and ready to sit down for me to snap a quick pic of them. :) Down time didn't last very long...
Graycen had a wonderful time watching the kids and posing for me! :)
Don't know how Daddy slept through it... That actually didn't last long, either.

Wildlife

One evening, Alex and Taylor came in and told us we just had to come outside and look at something. They saw this mommy and daddy duck sitting together in the shade on our next door neighbors' lawn. We had to take a picture to remember it! They thought it was so neat. :)

I'm finally old enough!

Brianna finally is old enough to have her ewes pewced (ears pierced), too! Auntie Gina came (and so did Grandma) with us, of course, and bought them for her birthday. What a great present! Thanks, Gina!

She was a bit scared beforehand, if you can't tell.
Precious!

She sat there so still and obedient. I was so proud of her!

Oh, so pretty, Nan!

This is the closest she came to crying. We were all done here and she didn't even shed one tear! I couldn't believe it!! What a big girl!

As with the other two girls, it's tradition to bring them down for ice cream afterwards. Here, Brianna did say, "Mommy, me no want my ewes pewced! Me no want ewwings!" They must have started hurting her...

Ice cream made everything better!

Good job, Nanna. :) Love you!

Yippee!! Daddy's back!

Daddy went on a long trip to China this week (and last), but he made it back today safe and sound. We are so happy to have him here again!
Keaton remembered Daddy! He was glad to see him!
The girls were counting down the minutes till Daddy got back.
He brought them some jammies from China. Cute little China dolls!

Mommy sure missed Daddy, too. It is good to be close to him again!
Daddy missed mommy, too. He brought me some beautiful flowers!
This is some of the money that he used when he was gone. He gave some to the girls to put in their China collections.

Welcome back, Honey! We missed you!

So cute, I had to share...

Alex helped me write the grocery list on the fridge this week. (notice that we have ants now that it is Spring again...) I usually write it on here during the week and then transfer it to paper to take to the store. She did a pretty good job writing what I asked, huh? You are getting to be such a big girl, Alex! We're so proud of you!!

Childhood to remember

The kids love to play hockey in Braydon and Kay-Kay's backyard. They have so much fun! Bri and Kaylin sit on the sidelines and cheer!

We hope they will always remember the fun times they have growing up with the neighbors.

Love all you guys!

Baking with the girls

Mommy decided it was time for some cookies. Peanut butter with chocolate chips, of course!
Nan wanted to help me, too.
She did a really good job pouring and using the mixer!

Oh, and licking a finger or two full of peanut butter...

They all agree the best part is licking the beaters. Since there are only 2, Alex gets a little spoonful. :)

Mommy doesn't believe in making small cookies. This is how they turned out. Yummy, huh?

Pretty painting!

Alex and Tay just got done painting when Nanna got up from her nap... She was pretty sad that she didn't get to paint, so mommy sat down with her and she made a beautiful picture.
Such a good job, Nan!

A day at the Zoo. (Isn't that every day??)

We had a good time at the Zoo today! We went with Wrobel's, Laura Suel, and Erin McGuire.

Keat's new buddy, Roman came with his mommy (Erin) and he was such a good boy!!

This is the favorite spot for the kids - Discovery Bay. They love to get soaked! They actually get to touch the sting rays, sharks, etc. Fun! Shannon said that it is usual for the workers to have to pull out at least one kid a week. :) Thank goodness it hasn't been one of ours!
Andrew and Brianna. Best buds. :)

Don't they look so grown up??

Alex took this picture of the little chicks. Good job!

I couldn't resist taking this one of the orchids. Beautiful!! One of God's amazing creations.

The girls like to climb in all the little cubby holes. :)

Maybe next time we can visit the outside exhibits. We may have to wait till August :) , but it will be worth it. (right now, April 10th [Spring, right?!] it is snowing and in the 30's. They are threatening 12" of snow through Saturday... Global warming, you know.)

Thank you, God for all the wonderful things you have given to us to enjoy You with. How gracious!

Somebody turned 3!

We had pizza for Brianna's birthday lunch

She was such a big girl opening all her presents

Taylor got her a pretty pink purse. She loves it!

Cake time!

"Happy Birthday, Brianna"

Blowing out the candles

We couldn't get the frosting to Keaton fast enough, I guess. :) He was tired, too...

Nan's favorite was the frosting.

She was so excited to see her new "pretty bed"! She loves the spockly (sparkly) butterflies on it!

Happy Birthday, sweetheart! We love you so much!
