Taylor lost her first tooth! She was so excited and was such a tough little girl! I don't think she even cried when Daddy pulled it out! Good job, Tay!

Catching up... Again.
Ok, I know it's been forever since I've posted pictures. Here are some catch up photos to keep you updated on the fam. :)
To start us off...
Aaron went on another trip to China. Bethany came for half the time. What a blessing! She brought her second son, Zac with her this time. It was so good to see him again!

Aaron brought back some gifts for us. He brought the girls some beautiful silk scarves. They wear them around their heads and around their waists as belts. Pretty!
Really getting into it here!

We made our solar system. Can you guess all the planets?

The girls have been asking to sleep in their tent for a night. We said "no" to school nights, so we let them on a weekend night.

Hmmmm
Could this be real?? Just got this over e-mail. I guess I believe this could happen. Let's keep praying!!!
Remember only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you, Jesus Christ and the American soldier.
One died for your soul, the other for your freedom. JOHN 3:16
From the RNC Network, fyi Hi all
Let me share some info with you that I have gotten from excellent sources within the DNC:On or about October 5th, Biden will excuse himself from the ticket, citing health problems, and he will be replaced by Hillary. This is timed tooccur after the VP debate on 10/2.There have been talks all weekend about how to proceed with this info.Generally, the feeling is that we should all go ahead and get it outthere to as many blog sites and personal email lists as is possible.I have already seen a few short blurbs about this. The "health problem" cited in those articles was aneurysm. Probably many of you have heard the same rumblings. However, at this point, with this in side info from the DNC, it lookslike this Obama strategy will be a go. Therefore, it seems that the best strategy is to get out in front of thisObama maneuver, spell it out in detail, and thereby expose it for the grandmanipulation that it is.

For all you Republicans out there...
Hey, just caught this quote from my friend's blog (thanks, Jess!) and had to share it on here to get the news out. Here ya go. Keep in mind, this boy is only in Kindergarten!
This morning I had the news on waiting for the weather and a commercial came on about Obama.
B says,"Mom, they just said that he was going to change Washington!!"
"What do you think that means B?"
"I don't know, but it can't be good."

Family worship time. Brianna picks "Jesus Loves Me" for her song to sing.
Daddy: "Brianna, DOES Jesus love you?
Brianna: "YES!"
Daddy: How?
Brianna: "Because He saves me."
Daddy: "From what, Brianna?"
Brianna: "Fwom cweechoze (creatures)"

We're off to a good start!
Well, we've successfully finished our first day of school 2008/2009! We started today and the girls were so excited! Brianna couldn't wait to open her new pack of Playdoh and tools. She had a blast with those. She started her sounds and coloring book, too. She learned the sound of the letter B. She did a great job coloring, and even went ahead in the book when I wasn't looking. :)
Taylor is off to a great start in Kindergarten! She was a hard-worker today with all the things she had to get done. She is so ready this year to learn! She's going to do well. She loves her math!
Alex, too, worked really hard. She is learning much harder things now that she is in the Second grade. By the end of the year, we noticed that she will know how to write a paper! She is getting so big so fast.
Now, Keaton... Well, he'll be a bit harder to teach. He kept grabbing all the girls' playdoh, pencils, books, colors, etc. He's not sure yet how he fits into this whole school thing. I'm not either. I think I'm going to have to figure out some better ways to keep him occupied. :) Morning naps should last a few more weeks, thankfully. That was a big help today.
So, overall, we had a fun morning. We still need to do some reading together from Beatrix Potter this afternoon, so that will be fun. Thanks to God's grace, we made it through!
