Found this in the news...

FORT VALLEY, Ga. — Peach County authorities say a newborn girl was found in the toilet of a jail cell.
According to Sheriff Terry Deese, 25-year-old Cornelia Kornegay of Roberta had the infant in a holding cell Wednesday morning and told jailers her baby was in the toilet.
Deese said deputies found the infant upside down submerged in water, but the toddler survived. He said jailers were unaware that Kornegay was pregnant.
Kornegay likely will face a charge of felony cruelty to children and other offenses. She was already being held at the facility for violating probation.
Deese said the infant, a 7 pound, 6-ounce girl was taken to a local hospital and was listed in good condition.

This makes me sick. And what makes me even sicker is that if the baby would have still been inside and she tried to kill it, she would've been completely off the hook.

Just had to share.

Sitting at the dinner table, Brianna says," I'm taking a drink so that the food will go down the drain in my mouth. :)

Back to Ballet

The girls started their next session of ballet this week. We are so excited! Brianna had her first class ever this time and was so sad when she had to be done! She wanted to go back and dance on stage! :0) I can't wait for their recital. And of course, I forgot my camera!!! I'm going to try to remember next week...

We had broiled Rosemary and Garlic Salmon tonight for dinner. Brianna says,

"I like weally, weally don't want the gwass on my chicken."

(I like really, really don't want the grass on my chicken.)

The rosemary leaves look a bit like grass... :)

Cute pics from recent times...

Keaton hardly lets us help feed him anymore... He is getting really good at eating most things with a spoon.
Growing up so fast.
We thought a fun friend day was needed. So, we finished school and invited the neighbor girl, Kaylin (her brother, Braydon came later) over for play and lunch. It was a nice break for the girls. :o)

Oh, how cute!

Sweet picture of my loved ones.

Alex turns eight! What? My baby girl??

Cousin Ryan brought his girlfriend, Sam to the party. Keaton LOVED her!!!

The guests all brought lovely gifts.

Of course, Keaton had his balloon. And stopped to take a snapshot with Auntie Gina.

I love this picture with Uncle Mike! So cute!

We love you so much, Alex. We are seeing much evidence of grace in your life. God is changing you and for that we are grateful! Keep trusting and living for HIM! He is worth it!!!

This is Alex and Taylor at their Winter Ballet Recital "Arise, Shine"

They were so beautiful! And you can tell they are really starting to catch on!

I was such a "proud mama" and very thankful that they are learning to dance to the glory of God!

Our little ham. :)
Just thought I would share a picture of one of the blankets I have on my website. We are having so much fun with our little business!

Playtime. He fits just right! Who needs toys?? Just give them trash. :)

This is soooo cute. When Keaton is all done eating, I say, "Ok, Keats. Let mommy go get a cloth to wipe off your face and hands and then you can get down." He promptly covers his face with his hands, thinking we can't see him, so then we won't wash him up. Found you, Keaton! :) What a sweetheart!

Alex takes good pictures! They have alot of fun together.

Alex helped one day by shoveling off the driveway! She is becoming such a big helper and a little lady! I am having such a good time as a mom watching to see how God is developing her into a beautiful young lady.

My baby boy. Not so baby anymore... :( He still melts my heart.

One day it was actually warm here in MN! No snow!

Cutie! These are Mr. Potato Head glasses!

That's it for now. Hope to get back to this more often again.

I am thankful for the life God has given me. I am truly blessed.

So, Carrie and I had our first craft sale this weekend! The only bummer is that it was probably in a bad location because it was REALLY SLOW! We did sell some greeting cards and a snuggle rag blanket/pillow set. We aren't discouraged, though. We handed out a lot of business cards! It was good advertising, if nothing else. Plus, it was fun to spend all that time with Carrie! :)
We did have a fun weekend. We are planning on finding another (busier!) craft show to be in really soon. I loved doing it!

As I was teaching school this morning, Brianna yells up from downstairs,

"Mom, come here! Mom, come here! Keaton did something! The T.V. is fuzzing!!"

Keaton must have pushed a button on the remote to turn it fuzzy. :)
